Poinsettia (Mama Elephant)

Today I'd like to share a Christmas card I made using the beautiful Poinsettia stamp set from Mama Elephant.

Aujourd'hui j'aimerais partager avec vous une carte de Noël que j'ai réalisée avec le magnifique set Poinsettia de chez Mama Elephant.

I die cut the frame and inside frame from watercolor paper using the Union Square die.
Next I stamped the flower on the inside square and again on masking paper.
I applied the mask and inked up the background and frame using Distress inks (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Broken China).
Before removing the mask, I mixed some "Nacré" Izink Finish with water and flicked it over the card.
I watercolored the flower with Distress inks:
Petals: Barn Door, Fired Brick and Vintage Photo
Stem and leaves: Tumbled Glass
A greeting from the Merry Christmas Wishes was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
To finish off, I adhered the background panel and frame to a top fold card base and added a few clear droplets.
J'ai coupé le cadre, ainsi que l'intérieur du cadre dans du papier aquarelle avec le die Union Square.
J'ai ensuite tamponné la fleur à l'intérieur du cadre ainsi que sur du "masking paper".
J'ai appliqué le masque et encré le fond et le cadre avec des encres Distress (Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire et Broken China).
Avant de retirer le masque, j'ai mélangé un peu de Izink Finish "Nacré" avec de l'eau et en ai éclaboussé quelques gouttes sur la carte.
J'ai aquarellé la fleur avec des encres Distress:
Pétales: Barn Door, Fired Brick et Vintage Photo
Tige et feuilles: Tumbled Glass
Un sentiment du set Merry Christmas Wishes a été tamponné à l'encre Versamark et embossé à chaud avec de la poudre blanche.
Pour terminer, j'ai adhéré le fond et le cadre à ma base de carte et ajouté quelques "gouttelettes" transparentes.
