Hello friends,
Today is the first day of the eighth coloring challenge hosted by the amazing Kathy Racoosin.
It's also the first day of Eid al Adha so here's the card I made for this occasion:
For the background, I did the "wrapped watercolor technique" using the Gansai Tambi watercolors and food wrap. Jennifer McGuire shows you how to do this technique here.
Once the panel was dry, I added decorative edges with a Blanket Stitch.
I next die cut the LLD Stitched Alphabet die-namics to make "EID MABROUK" from smooth white cardstock.
I stamped, colored (Promarkers) and die cut the images from the Ewe are the best stamp set.
I adhered the background panel, the letters and images to a top fold card base and finished off with a few sequins.

Hi everyone,
I'm popping in with a quick post today to share the Ramadan/Eid al Fitr cards I made ❤
I started by diecutting 2 squares and their frames from smooth white cardstock using the Union Square Creative Cuts die.
To create the blended panel and frame, I applied Shabby Shutters and Pine Needles Distress inks with a blending tool.
Next I stamped the Mandala on two corners using the Misti.
I stamped greetings from the Ramadan Greetings and the Eid Al Adha stamp sets using Versamark/Versafine ink and heat embossed with white/clear embossing powder.
Finally I secured the panels and frames to top fold card bases with foam adhesive.

Hi everyone,
Hope you're having a great day!
Today, I'm sharing with you a card that I created for "Eid al adha". Eid al adha also called "Sacrifice feast" is an islamic festival commemorating Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son out of faith in Allah but He gave him a sheep to sacrifice instead. It also marks the end of the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).
Salut,
Moving on to the card I made, I first die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Madison Avenue die (Mama Elephant).
To create the frame, I applied Versamark ink on it and heat embossed with silver glitter embossing powder.
On the inside rectangle from the die cut frame, I repeatedly stamped the sheep image with grey ink using the Carnival cupcakes (Mama Elephant) stamp set and added some greenish splatters for an "artistic touch"!
I stamped the sentiment from the set Eid al adha (Altenew), heat embossed with white embossing powder on a strip of black cardstock and cut one end into a banner.
I stamped, colored (Promarkers) and cut the sheep (Carnival cupcakes). I added some texture using a Snow Marker to turn him into a super fluffy sheep!
I die cut a circle from white cardstock and sponged the edges with Distress ink (Cracked Pistachio), I also die cut a "Spiro circle" (Xcut) of Aquamarine vellum.
I adhered (the frame, the panel, the Aquamarine vellum, the circle piece, the sentiment and the sheep) to a top fold card base. The panel was popped up with fun foam.
Stamps/Tampons: Carnival cupcakes (Mama Elephant), Eid al adha (Altenew)
Dies: Madison Avenue die (Mama Elephant), Circle die (Sizzix), Spiro circle die (Xcut)
Coloring Medium/Colorisation: Promarkers
Inks/Encres: London fog ink (Memento), Versamark ink, Distress ink (Cracked Pistachio)
Accessories/Accessoires: Snow Marker/Marqueur à neige

Beautiful Day (Eid Mubarak)
Hello everyone,
Hope you're all having a great day!
Today, I have a floral card to share with you, using the multi layered stamp set Beautiful Day from Altenew.
Bonjour,
I first stamped the layering flower image using different Memento inks on to a white cardstock.
The outline flower image was stamped with grey pigment ink and heat embossed with silver glitter embossing powder and then fussy cut.
I used the others outline stamps from the set to create a tone on tone background.
I embossed a rectangular panel with Darice's Wire Fence embossing folder. I added some foam adhesive behind it.
For the sentiment, I cut a piece of black cardstock into a banner and heat embossed the greeting from the Eid Greetings stamp set with white embossing powder.
I adhered the tone on tone panel, the embossed panel + foam, the banner and the flower to a top fold card base.
Last but not least, I added some pearls to complete this card.
Stamps/Tampons: Beautiful Day and Eid Greetings from Altenew
Inks/Encres: Memento inks, grey pigment ink
Embossing folder/Classeur de gaufrage: Wire Fence from Darice
Accessories/Accessoires: Pearls (Perles)
I hope you enjoyed the card, thanks for stopping by!
