Eid Mabrouk (Ewe are the best - MFT)
Hello friends,
Today is the first day of the eighth coloring challenge hosted by the amazing Kathy Racoosin.
It's also the first day of Eid al Adha so here's the card I made for this occasion:
Coucou les amis,
Aujourd'hui c'est le premier jour du "Daily Marker Coloring Challenge nr 8" organisé par l'incroyable Kathy Racoosin.
C'est également le premier jour de l'Aïd el Adha, voici donc la carte que j'ai réalisée pour cet évènement:
For the background, I did the "wrapped watercolor technique" using the Gansai Tambi watercolors and food wrap. Jennifer McGuire shows you how to do this technique here.
Once the panel was dry, I added decorative edges with a Blanket Stitch.
I next die cut the LLD Stitched Alphabet die-namics to make "EID MABROUK" from smooth white cardstock.
I stamped, colored (Promarkers) and die cut the images from the Ewe are the best stamp set.
I adhered the background panel, the letters and images to a top fold card base and finished off with a few sequins.

Inks: Intense Black ink (Hero Arts), Distress Oxide inks

"Inlaid Made Easy" (MFT Camp Create)
Hello friends,
I'm here to share with you two projects I made for the MFT Camp Create.
Card #1
I used the Gansai Tambi watercolors (No. 57 and 67) to create the background and the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors (No. 901 and 904) for the splatters and inlaid stars.
I die cut the words out of the watercolor panel and layered white and beige cardstock into the negative spaces.
Card #2
I was inspired by Barbara Anders' tutorial. You can watch her video here.
I just used Distress inks for the background, inlaid the sentiment and turned into a circle shaped card.
Supplies (card #1)
Dies: Inside & out stitched stars and Happy birthday to you die-namics from MFT
Coloring Medium: Gansai Tambi and Gansai Tambi starry colors
Supplies (card #2)
Dies: Beach scene builder and Sending hugs die-namics from MFT
Distress inks: Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I'll be back soon with another card for the challenge.

Hippo Bird-Day shaker card (MFT)
Hello friends,
Hope you're having a great Sunday!!!
Today I'd like to share the shaker card I made using the adorable Happy Hippos stamp set from My Favorite Things.
Salut les amis,
J'espère que vous passez un agréable dimanche!
Aujourd'hui, j'aimerais partager avec vous la carte shaker que j'ai réalisée avec l'adorable set Happy Hippos de chez My Favorite Things.
To start off I watercolored the background with Distress Oxide inks (Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick) and set aside to dry.
I die cut the Bold Stripes Cover-up Die-namics from white cardstock and created the shaker element with acetate, foam tape and some Mini stars.
I stamped, colored (Distress inks + Wink of Stella) and die cut the images from the Happy Hippos stamp set.
To finish the card I stamped the greeting on beige cardstock using Versamark ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut into a strip.
Stamps/Tampons: Happy Hippos stamp set (MFT)
Dies: Bold Stripes Cover-up Die-namics (MFT)
Inks/Encres: Distress Oxide inks, Distress inks and Versamark ink
Coloring Medium/Colorisation: Distress Oxide inks, Distress inks + Wink of Stella Embossing powder/Poudre à embosser: Opaque Bright White (Wow)

"Sensational Sliders" - "Spectacular Shakers" (MFT Camp Create)
Hello there,
I'm back today to share a couple of interactive cards I created for the MFT Camp Create.
Card #1 "Sensational Sliders"
To create the background, I die cut a Grassy border from a white panel and inked with Pine Needles Distress ink. For the sky, I applied Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans Distress inks.
From another white panel, I die cut a hill using the Ocean Waves die-namics, inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink and stamped a greeting from the Forest Friends stamp set on it.
Next, I cut a slider track from the background panel. I used 4 pennies and small foam tape to go between the pennies and acetate. The piece of acetate allows to hide the track. I foam mounted the panel and secured to a top fold card base.
I stamped, colored (Prismacolor pencils) and die cut the images from the Once upon a time and Knight in shining armor stamp sets.
I attached the "hill" with foam tape and adhered the knight to the acetate. I also adhered the clouds, the princess and the bird to complete the card.
Card #2 "Spectacular Shakers"
I started by stamping the images from the Monster Love stamp set all over a Kraft panel using Distress Oxide inks. Their little faces were stamped with black ink.
I then cut out a window using the Rectangle peek-a-boo window die-namics and stamped the greeting with black ink.
I assembled the shaker parts, filled it with sequins, pearls and glitter flakes.
I secured the whole thing to a top fold card base and added a pair of googly eyes to one of the monsters.
Supplies (card #1)
Stamps: Once upon a time, Knight in shining armor and Forest friends stamp sets from MFT
Dies: Grassy edges and Ocean waves die-namics from MFT
Inks: Distress inks (Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Pine Needles and Pumice Stone)
Coloring Medium: Prismacolor pencils
Supplies (card #2)
Stamps: Monster love stamp set (MFT)
Dies: Rectangle peek-a-boo window die-namics
Inks: Distress Oxide inks (Fossilized Amber, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio), Intense Black ink (Hero Arts)
Paper: Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
Others: Acetate, Sequins, Pearls, Glitter flakes and Googly eyes
